About Veritas High Performance
Origin
Back when I was first looking for a coach, I quickly realised that the industry was highly saturated, with a low bar to entry, and minimal quality control.
With degrees in philosophy and psychology, leadership experience ranging from teams of 5 to teams of 200, I thought that I may be able to add some value. I used the next few years to develop an understanding (and qualifications) in coaching and slowly out of this, Veritas High Performance was born.
Having dealt with more than my fair share of adversity, I know that the person sitting opposite you needs to be credible, experienced and supportive. I set out to provide an executive coaching service that would bring together internationally recognised and assured qualifications, professional experience and a servant mindset. This is the bedrock upon which I support others on their leadership and resilience journeys.
Mission
My intent is to cultivate, support and enable those who are seeking to lead with purpose, enhance resilience and unlock their potential. The desired end state is motivated clients who are better able to serve their teams and deliver world class results (success). This is achieved through personal mastery.

Ethos
Veritas (truth in Latin) is at the heart of my ethos. The VHP logo is designed as a representation of the Spartan shield inverted to form a V where the truth can protect and safeguard the holder. Those brave enough to pursue the truth must possess courage, integrity and curiosity. Those strong enough to wield it demonstrate selflessness, resilience, confidence, competence and character.
My Compass
Everyone's journey towards personal mastery is unique and ongoing. There is no one size that fits all. But these seem like a pretty good starting point.
Have I mastered all of these? Absolutely not, but it's a work in progress.
The combination of a why, with supporting pillars, behavioural anchors and social anchors help me to navigate my way through the world. They are the foundations of how I engage. For you, they are an insight into what guides me as a man which should help you to decide if I am the right kind of crazy for you.

Leadership is not something you “arrive at.” It is a skill, a practice, and a mindset that has to be continually refined. Over time, I have developed what I call my Leadership Compass, a framework that keeps me orientated, grounded, and growing, no matter the environment.
Why This Compass Matters
Leadership is not about always knowing the right answer; it’s about knowing how to navigate uncertainty. My compass gives me a framework to return to one that combines purpose, stability, authenticity, consistent action, and accountability. It’s not a finished product; it evolves as I do.
And just as my compass has guided me through military command, counter-terrorism, academia, and coaching, I believe everyone can build their own. The journey starts by asking: what is my true north?
